Welcoming Miss Global 2017 from 60 Countries
| In the morning on 14 November 2017, BELTEI International University welcomed the winning Miss Global 2016 and Miss Global 2017 delegates from 60 countries to meet 700 BELTEI students, presiding over H.E. LY Chheng, Director-General of BELTEI Group and President of BELTEI International University, Mr. Van M.Pham, President of Miss Global Committee and Mr. Oeung Rothrathanak, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Miss Global committee. Mr. Ly Navuth, Deputy Director-General of BELTEI Group and Senior Vice President said BELTEI is an acronym consisting of six major subjects, BEL= Business, Economics, Law, and TEI= Tourism, English, Information Technology. Currently, BELTEI Group has more than 2,500 staff and there are 37,000 students and 3 main services providing such as: 1. BELTEI Construction has buy& sale service of real estate and other buildings. It is currently building BELTEI 18 (Prek Eng), BELTEI 19 (Kampong Som) and BELTEI 20 (Prek Leap). 2. BELTEI Tour offers three main services: Domestic Tour Program, Inbound Tour Program, and Outbound Tour Program. 3. BELTEI Education is divided into 3 main sections: -BELTEI International School: There are 21 campuses and more than 36,000 students with 05 major curricula: 1- General Education 2- English as Second Language 3- Professional Training 4- Computer Training Classes 5- International Test Preparation Courses. -BELTEI International University: There is one campus located at Building 21, Street 360, Sangkat Boeung Keng Kang III, Khan Chamkarmorn, and has 6 main majors: 1- Business Administration 2- Education, Arts and Humanities 3. Law & Social Sciences 4- Tourism & Hospitality 5- Engineering & Architecture 6- Information Technology and Science. -BELTEI International Relations: There are three main services: 1- Send students to study abroad 2. Student exchange program 3- internship abroad. Mr. Oeung Rothrathanak, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Miss Global committee expressed his deep gratitude to His Excellency LY Chheng, Director-General of BELTEI Group, BELTEI Management Team and all staff who warmly welcomed the visit of Miss Gobal 2017 to BELTEI International University. Particularly, a very special thanks to H.E. for his generous sponsorship of both budget and modern tour buses of BELTEI Tour with a satisfactory service. He spoke that recently on November 6th, Miss Global 2017 has participated in planting 10,000 trees in Oraing Ov district, Tbong Khmum province which is a symbol of environmental preservation and has visited tourism areas also Cambodian historical sites such as: Angkor Wat temple in Siem Reap province, Sambor Prei Kuk temple in Kampong Thom province, Thansur Bokor Resort in Sihanoukville, and many other places in the aim of raising awareness about the value of environment and tourism in Cambodia. On that occasion, H.E. LY CHHENG expressed his appreciation to organizing committee of Miss Global and each Miss Global who had spent valuable time visiting BELTEI International University this time. BELTIE International University is honored to have welcomed all 60 countries of Miss Global for their meeting with BELTEI students to share culture, customs, traditions and experiences, in particular, promoting the values of the environment and mobilizing the participation of Cambodia's environmental protection. He also added that it is the honor and pride of Cambodia to host the Miss Global 2017, which will enable to the world to know more and see clearly about Cambodia's development under the wise leadership of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister. In the end, he handed out souvenirs and flowers to the Miss Global, and photographed together as memory at that time. |
