The 3rd Annual ASEAN Academic Alliance

On August 31, 2017 BELTEI International University hosted the 3rd Annual ASEAN Academic Alliance Conference 2017 (3rd AAA Conference 2017) under the theme "Future Skills for Future Careers–The Roles of Higher Education Institutions", which was presided over by H.E. Academician HANG Choun Naron, the Minister of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport and the participation of more than 20 universities from 6 countries in ASEAN Association with various of higher education institutions in the Kingdom of Cambodia. H.E. Ly Chheng, Director-General of BELTEI Group and the president of BELTEI International University said that this is the 3rd annual ASEAN Academic Alliance Conference 2017 which BELTEI International University holds as host to organize this conference in the purposes as follows: 1- To find specific skills for future careers 2- To share knowledge and experience among AAA Founding Members 3- To include real skills in the ASEAN labor market 4- To deepen collaboration among AAA founding members 5- To build capacity of university professors and members of AAA University 6- To enhance student understanding of ASEAN The first ASEAN Academic Alliance Conference was established and officially launched in June 2015 at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University in Bangkok, the Kingdom of Thailand, and the second was hold at the East Asia Institute of Management (EASB), Singapore. On this occasion, H.E. Academician HANG Choun Naron has also expressed his sincere thanks to H.E. Ly Chheng, Director-General of BELTEI Group and the president of BELTEI International University who strove to organize such an international conference with the participation of ASEAN countries which it has promoted our national prestige for being as the host in this event; he also thanks to all the founding members of ASEAN Academic Alliance (AAA) and BELTEI International University for their co-organized and coordinated with Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport in preparation of this important event. He added that this is an important topic "Future skills for future careers", this was not only the problem for Cambodian students but for the whole world to build a competent human resource with appropriate professional skills, especially in response to the globalization context in the labor market competition. In addition, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the Kingdom of Cambodia plays an important role in establishment and development of human resources to increase the economy of the family, society and the country. I strongly hope that every presentation of the speakers in this conference will provide knowledge, ideas and share experiences to all participants. In the end, H.E. President also announced the opening of the 3rd ASEAN Academic Alliance Conference 2017.
