3 BELTEI Students Winning the Poetry Contest On
the occasion of the 15th Anniversary 3rd-March
National Culture Day in 2013
On the afternoon of April 06th, 2013, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts launched an event on the Poetry Contest Result Announcement in celebrating the occasion of the 15th Anniversary 3rd-March National Culture Day in 2013 held at the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) presided by His Excellency CHEY CHAB, the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport and His Excellency KHIM SARITH, the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts with more than 200 participations of His Excellencies, Lok Chumteav, Ladies, Gentlemen, Teachers, Students, and Guardians from different educational institutions. This event was in the purpose of making every educational institution in Phnom Penh Capital City to encourage their students to participate in the Poetry Contest under the theme “Everything is for the Progress of National Culture” aiming at promoting national cultural heritages, morale, national dignity and prevention of the flowing in of negative foreign cultures, eliminating inappropriate social actions which cause negative effects on our beautiful tradition and culture. His Excellency LY CHHENG, the Director-General of BELTEI GROUP and the President of BELTEI International University stated that it was such a pride that our student, Mr. SOUN SENRITH, the contestant representing BELTEI International University won the first place of the Poetry Contest in the occasion of celebrating the 15th 3rd-March National Culture Day in 2013. Whereas Mr. SEA SUYMENG, the contestant representing BELTEI International University and another student, Miss SATH SATHAVATEY, the contestant representing BELTEI International Institution won the incentive prizes from the judges and were granted a 100% scholarship from BELTEI International University as well. Finally, His Excellency CHEY CHAB, the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport praised the contestants and honorably awarded the prizes to all the winners with pride and pleasure. |
