4-Teenager or Adult Learners

CSL Teenager or Adult Learners (Level 7-12) is designed to help teenagers or adults from non-Chinese background to comprehensively improve students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing, supplement the corresponding applied language and cultural knowledge, highlight the training of paragraphs and dicourse lays the foundation for comprehensively consolidating comprehensive Chinese skills. This course is aimed at students who have a Chinese foundation leading to undergraduate studies. It enables students to master 3500-4000 commonly used words and have high language reading skills, especially the ability to understand paragraphs and dicourse; through planned Chinese writing training, transition from general paragraphs and discourse training to the writing of narrative, expository, and argumentative essays in the true sense, so that learners can complete general narratives, expository essays, and essays of about 400-600 words in about 30 minutes. Students are able to understand general language materials related to social life, and able to make general narrations, explanations and discussions; while learning Chinese, by typical, beautiful and positive Chinese cultural knowledge, learn and pay attention to phenomena, experience the profound Chinese culture, and communicate on these cultural topics. In addition, in order to encourage students whose without Chinese background, cultivate and improve their Chinese ability, and obtain ideal results in the International Standardized Chinese Proficiency Test, we also use the “HSK Standard Course” as an auxiliary. Our courses use "Easy Steps to Chinese for Kids" and “HSK Standard Course” which published by Beijing Language and Culture University, "Chinese Conversation" which was compiled by our BELTEI International School for internal use only. Upon the completion, students are able to talk about a wide range of topics in Chinese and communicate with native Chinese speakers relatively and fluently; read Chinese newspapers and magazines, enjoy Chinese film and television programs, and give relatively complete speeches in Chinese; easily understand what they hear or read in Chinese, express your own opinions in Chinese fluently in oral or written form, and receive a BELTEI CSL Diploma and HSK (Level 5-6) Examination Score Report.
