Organized the 3rd Khmer Writing Competition 2019
On the afternoon of June 29, 2019, BELTEI International School has organized a program of the Third Khmer Writing Competition at BELTEI International School, campus 9 (Steung Meanchey) which was participated by 57 contestants of the 1st place from 20 campuses, and this program was presided over by Mr. LY Bunchhay, Deputy Director-General of BELTEI Group and the Head of Campus-Directors, highly representative of H. E. Dr. LY Chheng, Member of Parliament for Phnom Penh Capital and Director General of BELTEI Group. Mr. BUTH Dimang, General Education Office Manager said: Currently, BELTEI International School has 22 campuses, of which 20 are operating and 2 are under construction with more than 42,000 students and 2215 staff working. The Khmer Writing Competition is divided into three phases: 1 - Class Level Competition is a competition in each class and teachers are responsible for organizing. 2 - Campus Level Competition is a competition at campuses, and Campus Director is responsible for organizing 1st Selection Competition to compete at the BELTEI Level. 3 - BELTEI Level Competition is a competition selected from the 1st winners of Grade 4, 7 and Grade 10 candidates to compete for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in the final round. The main purpose of this program is to give the students smarter, remember well and fluent in writing skill, nouns, pronouns, punctuation, and phrases. He also confirmed that the school has now been granted a franchise on Malaysia's IMA "Intelligent Mental Arithmetic" which will help students to speed up their calculations and improve their use. The child's brain is intelligent and quick-working through the use of abacus and science teaching techniques modernize and improve our students excel in math. During that occasion, Mr. Ly Bunchhay praised all the successful students who had been studying hard to succeed now and thanked all parents and guardians for their opportunity and encouragement for their children to learn more at home and have good academic abilities. Finally, Mr. LY Bunchhay also awarded to 9 winners with the gold, silver, and bonus medals to 4th, 7th and 10th graders. |
