Participated The 3rd Writing Contest Program
| On the afternoon of October 26, 2018, BELTEI International School has organized the 3rd Writing Contest Program at BELTEI International School, Campus 9 (Steung Meanchey) which was presided over by Mr. LY Bunchhay, Deputy Director-General of BELTEI Group and the Head of Campus Directors, highly representative of H. E. Dr. LY Chheng, Member of Parliament for Phnom Penh Capital and Director-General of BELTEI Group. According to a report by Mr. Chan Tyta, the ESL Office Manager of BELTEI International School consists of 21 campuses, which 19 are in operation and 2 more are under construction with the number of 40, 561 students. The purpose of this Writing Contest Program is to encourage students to show their ability to write English and compete internationally. The ESL Program is designed specifically for advanced students, and the textbooks are co-sponsored by McGraw-HILL Education in the United States. In addition, the school also added extra programs such as: Songs, fairy tales, and famous speakers to students from all levels from Preschool 1 to Level 12 to make students to have the courage to share their thoughts. Upon completion of Level 12, students have the ability to speak, read, and write at least 5.5 or more for IELTS test which can apply for scholarships to study abroad. During that occasion, Mr. LY Bunchhay expressed his admiration for young people who have worked hard and respect the school's internal rules, good discipline and good morals, not harming families and society until they were awarded. He also added that all English language learners at Level 12 will prepare for the IELTS test and that students who earn more than 6.5 points will receive 100% scholarships to BELTEI International University for 4 years, while students who earn more than 7.5 points will receive Okhna LY Chheng scholarship to study abroad. BELTEI International University also has a curriculum in the national and international language. The international curriculum focuses on 100% English as an international level, in order to make students connect from school to university in the bachelor degree, Master degree, and Ph.D. The University has also consists of the curriculum in the national language, in bilingual, in Khmer and English, to enable BELTEI students to gain knowledge in both national and international languages and to make it easier for students to communicate nationally and internationally, a chance to successfully engage in personal business and become a famous entrepreneur in the future. At the end, Mr. LY Bunchhay, Deputy Director-General of BELTEI Group and the Head of Campus Directors awarded the winners in the 4 levels such as level 5, 8, 11, 12 with the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medal as well. |
