BELTEI International School (BELTEI IS in Cambodia)
BELTEI Group Celebrated an Annual Party
for Nearly 2,500 Staff in the Occasion of Khmer New Year at KOH PICH
In the morning of March 31, 2018, BELTEI International School held an Awarding Ceremony for 820 ESL Level 6 students at BELTEI International University (Tuol Sleng Campus), which was presided over by His Excellency LY Chheng, Director-General of BELTEI Group and the President of BELTEI International University and Lok Chum Teav. Mr. Chan Tyta, ESL Office Manager said that, Currently, BELTEI International School has 21 Campuses, of which 18 are in operating and 03 are under construction, with 36,608 students, while level 6 students who have completed the batch 44 are 11,152 students. The ESL program is internationally compiled and the textbook is co-sponsored by McGraw-HILL Education in the United States. In addition, the school also added popular curricula such as, popular songs, fairy tales, and TEDTalk to students from all levels from Preschool 1 to Level 12. Upon completion of Level 12, students have the ability to speak, read, write, and receive at least a TOEFL or IELTS score of 6.5 or more who can apply for a scholarship to study abroad. In that occasion, H. E. LY Chheng expressed admiration for the students who worked hard to study and obey the rules of the school well, good discipline and good morality, not harming to families and society until they got the certificates right now. H. E. added that with the request of parents, guardians and students in academic year 2017-2018, BELTEI International University has opened a national program in addition to the existing international program, which is taught in bilingual language, in Khmer and English, and offer free 1 year intensive and computer courses to meet the needs and comforts of students and gain high quality education at the tertiary level. There are 5 main curriculum courses such as, Bridging Course, Foundation Year, Bachelor Degree, Master's Degree, and Doctor's Degree with two intakes such as, October and March, covering major areas that meet current and future labor market requirements. Finally, His Excellency and Lok Chum Teav congratulated and awarded the certificates to 820 student-winners. |
