Awarding of Batch 12's High School for 879 Grade 12 Students

In the morning of October 10, 2017, BELTEI International School celebrated Awarding Ceremony for 879 BELTEI grade 12 students who had passed their national exams in the academic year 2015-2016, batch 12, at BELTEI International University (Toul Sleng), which was presided over by H.E. LY Chheng, Director-General of BELTEI Group and President of BELTEI International University and Lok Chumteav.

Mr. LY Bunchhay, Deputy Director-General of BELTEI Group in charge of BELTEI International School said nowadays BELTEI IS comprises of 21 campuses, 18 are in services while 3 other are under constructions, and it has total students 34,914. BELTEI IS has created 8 more extra-curricular courses for Khmer General Education and ESL Program such as, 1st: Know how Improvement Program, 2nd: Mental Improvement Program, 3rd: Field Trip, 4th: TV Programs, 5th: Writing Contest, 6th: Mathematic competition, 7th: BELTEI’s got Talent, 8th: BELTEI Sports; in this academic year, BELTEI has set the Science Class according to the program STEM (STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) from the Ministry of Education, Youths, and Sports, and has set up laboratory for grade 7 to grade 12 on the subjects, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. BELTEI IS has opened the extra training class and special class for students at grade 9 and 10 as well.

In this auspicious occasion, H.E. LY Chheng appreciated all the graduates for their studying hard, obeying the school’s regulations, being disciplined and high morality which did not make any negative effects to their families and the whole society and these led them into receiving certificates today. More than that, H. E has admired to grade 12 students, who can keep the champion of number 1 and number 2 in the whole country in the last 3 year:
1. In 2017: Sor Kimsear, got Grade A, receiving number 1 with the total scores of 100.00%.
2. In 2016: Kang Sinhly,  got Grade A, receiving number 1 with the total scores of 100.00%.
3. In 2015: Seng Gechly, got Grade A, receiving number 2 with the total scores of 99.999%.
H. E. LY Chheng added that due to the request of parents, guardians and students in 2017, BELTEI International University has opened a national language curriculum in addition to the existing international curriculum, which is taught in bilingual languages, English as well as English and offers free English and computer classes for one year to meet needs and provide comfort to students in the study, and attain higher education at the tertiary level. BELTEI IU provides 5 main programs such as, English training class, Foundation year, Bachelor Degree, Master Degree and Doctor Degree, enrollment twice a year is on October and March, focusing on key skills that meet current and future job market requirements In accordance with ASEAN Education Coalition “Future skill, Future career”. In the meantime, H.E. left a message for all the graduates to study harder in their higher education in order to advance their knowledge and to challenge in the world of work locally and internationally as well as build up sufficient competence for developing our nation. Finally, to conclude the ceremony, H.E. awarded the certificates to 879 graduates.
