BELTEI International School (BELTEI IS in Cambodia)
26 Grade A Students Sharing Experiences
with Their Fellow Grade 12 Student
| On the morning of October 18, 2017, BELTEI International School organized an event to share the learning experiences of twenty-six students from BELTEI International School with scores of "A" to motivate and encourage to 1,467 grade 12 students who will participate in Grade 12 National Exams in academic year 2017-2018, in which is presided over by H.E LY Chheng, Director General of BELTEI Group and the President of BELETEI International University, as well as Lok Chumteav. Mr. LY Bunchhay, Deputy Director-General of BETLEI Group and the Head of Campus-Directors reported that BELTEI International School has extended its presence and reach to now include 21 campuses with 18 campuses currently operating and three campuses are under construction. As a result, BELTEI students enrolled in Khmer General Education and ESL studying full-time and part-time total in 34,629. In the new academic year 2016-2017, there are 1,173 students that took Grade 12 National Exams, 26 students earned grades of "A" (especially, the top scorer of grade A national wide); 98 students earned grades of "B"; 134 students received grades of "C";165 students received grades of "D"; 458 students received grades of "E". On this occasion, H.E. LY Chheng, Director-General of BELTEI Group and the president of BELTEI International University, expressed his appreciation to all of the outstanding students who tried their utmost, and studied intensely throughout school recognizing their success today. H.E. also thanked students’ parents and guardians who accommodated their children to learn more at home with good discipline. H.E also appreciated grade 12 students who can keep the champion of number 1 and number 2 nationwide in the last three years. 1. In 2017: Sor Kimsear, got Grade A, receiving number 1 with the total scores of 100.00%. 2. In 2016: Kang Sinhly, got Grade A, receiving number 1 with the total scores of 100.00%. 3. In 2015: Seng Gechly, got Grade A, receiving number 2 with the total scores of 99.999%. At the end, H.E and Lok Chomteav presented letter of appreciation and 100% Scholarship to all 26 grade A outstanding students who will be sent to study abroad via Ouknha LY CHHENG Scholarship such as: Singapore, Thailand, China, Japan and Canada with $2.000 (USD) per year as allowance. The number 1 Grade A national wide, Sor Kimsear, received $5.000 (USD) as allowance and another $3.000 (USD) as annual stipend throughout his four-year Bachelor Degree study from H.E. Ly Chheng. All grade 12 teachers who have taught all grade A outstanding students also received letter of appreciation and $100 (USD) each. |
