BELTEI IS 71 Students Returning from
International Youth Fellowship (IYF) in South Korea
On July 14, 2017, BELTEI students returned to Cambodia after spending 14 days participating in the World Camp 2017 in Korea successfully. The international camp has more than 4,000 youths from 80 countries in the world as well as some ministers of education from 22 countries. On that occasion, Mr. LY Bunchhay, Deputy Director-General of BELTEI Group and Head of Campus-Directors, said that BELTEI Group signed a memorandum of understanding with International Youth Fellowship (IYF) to cooperate. In 2017, BELTEI has recently sent 71 students to the 14-day international camping program from July 1 to 14, and visited and studied in some key areas such as Seoul, Busan City and other historical sites. He also said that the purpose and benefits of joining the camp are to make our students brave, adapt to live and work with different nationalities to share experiences from each other, as well as to change the culture, traditions, customs, and other new knowledge they have never learned before. And this camping also demonstrates the ability of Cambodian students at international level to have sufficient capacity to participate in international programs, as well as to show the world of Cambodian culture, tradition, and prosperity. After returning from an international camp in South Korea, On that occasion, Chhum Leap Nita, a 11th grade student from BELTEI Campus 4, is delighted that she has participated in many advantageous programs. Particularly, in Mind Lecture program, students have learned a lot of things, such as positive thinking, empathy, love to family, good relationships with others, and open mindedness. In the Academy Class, students participate in Korean Popular Games, Creating Materials, and Beauty Care. In this program, students know how to communicate with many people by using English, teamwork and popular gambling. At the same time, Tem Keo Vichny, a 11th grade student from BELTEI Campus 14, says that she feels like it is new for her, and there's also a boat taking, shopping, and homestay program. Another student whose name is Khieu Dara, a 11th grade student from BELTEI Campus 11, said that while attending the World Camp 2017 in Korea, he studied in key areas such as Seoul, Busan City and other historical sites.
