BELTEI Inaugurates the Futsal Match
of BELTEI Champions Trophy 2017
In the afternoon of June 24, 2017, BELTEI International School organized an Opening Ceremony of the Futsal Match of BELTEI CHAMPIONS TROPHY 2017 which was joined by 16 teams of the sixteen BELTEI IS campuses and was participated by more than 4,500 students at Olympic National Stadium, and it was presided over by H.E. SEAN Borat, the Secretary of State of Ministry of Education Youth and Sport and President of the Union of Student Sports of Cambodia. Mr. LY Bunchhay, Deputy Director-General of BELTEI Group and the Head of Campus-Directors, reported that the Futsal match of BELTEI Champions Trophy 2017 was another new program of BELTEI International School, which was organized in response to the policy in strengthening all types of sports with the royal government of Cambodia led by Samdech Akka Mohasena Padei Techo Hun Sen, the Prime Minister of Kingdom of Cambodia, in accordance with academic programs of the Ministry of Education Youth and Sport. So far, BELTEI International School has already included 2 types of sport as the following: 1. Physical Educations for students from grades 1 to 6, 2. Taekwondo for students from 7 to 8 And that day, we added 2 more types of sport which includes: 1. Futsal for students from grade 10 to 12 2. Football for students from grade 10 to 12 And we would also continue to organize such sports for students of BELTEI International University too. The rewards for the winners of the BELTEI Champions Trophy 2017 are as the following: - 1st Place Winner Team receives 1. BELTEI Trophy, 2. Gold Medal, 3. 3,000,000 R - 2nd Place Winner Team receives 1. Silver Medal 2. 2,000,000 R - 3rd Place Winner Team receives 1. Bronze Medal 2. 1,000,000 R In that occasion, H.E. LY Chheng, Director-General of BELTEI Group and the President of BELTEI International University, thanked H.E. Chairman of the event who had taken off his busy time to attend the Opening Ceremony of the Futsal Match of BELTEI CHAMPIONS TROPHY 2017. His Excellency advised all students to play sports as they can make them healthy, have good communication and have solidarity with each other and avoiding using drugs because drug abuse leads into some consequences such as harming our health, dropping out of school, causing domestic violence, committing crimes which cause social insecurity and make the loss of human resources for national development as well as affecting national economic growth. In the meantime, H.E. Sean Borat greeted and sent greetings from H.E. Minister of Education, Youth and Sport to all BELTEI’s management team, staff, teachers and students. He also stated that peace has created and offered opportunities for all of us to contribute to building the nation in all fields including physical educations and sports which have been constantly encouraged by the leader of the royal government of Cambodia to the next generation of youth to continue our prestige on the international arena, especially for the 2023 SEA Games hosted by Cambodia. Peace and political stability enable us to join in education and sport. He, on the other hand, appreciated BELTEI International School for opening that Futsal match of BELTEI CHAMPIONS TROPHY, and this sport is strongly supported by many youths throughout the country. H.E. Sean Borat also expressed his thankfulness to BELTEI International School for its efforts not only to contribute to the development of human resources but also to build Cambodian footballer resources with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports as well as to the Royal Government of Cambodia. However, His Excellency Sean Borat appealed to all youths to participate in the protection of peace and other achievements of the Royal Government of Cambodia under the leadership of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, who had endeavored for the whole nation and all Cambodian people. Finally, His Excellency Chairman of the ceremony gifted balls to the referees as a symbol of the opening of game in the first session. |
