BELTEI International School (BELTEI IS in Cambodia)
819 BELTEI IS's ESL Level 6 Students Received Their Certificates
| In the morning of November 26, 2016, BELTEI International School held an Awarding Ceremony for 819 ESL Level 6 students at BELTEI International University (Tuol Sleng Campus), which was presided over by His Excellency LY Chheng, Director-General of BELTEI Group and the President of BELTEI International University and Lok Chum Teav. Mr. LY Bunchhay, Deputy Director-General in charge of BELTEI International School said that BELTEI International School has ESL program of 12 levels which are divided in: 1. Level 1-6 for young learners 2. Level 7-12 for adult learners. Presently, the total ESL Level 6 students of 40 batches are 10,151. BELTEI International School has included 7 main extra curriculum courses for Khmer general education and ESL program as the following: 1. Know how Improvement Program (students study concepts of Buddhism, Traffic Laws, and awareness of drugs) 2. Mental Improvement Program (Focusing on public speaking contests, English speaking contest and public debates) 3. Field Trip Program ( the Royal Palace, national museum, and other tourist destinations) 4. TV Program (Students learn Khmer songs, English songs, folktales, and well-known orator’s perspectives) 5. Writing Competition Program ( Young learners learn how to write paragraphs and adult learners learn how to write compositions) 6. Mathematic Competition Program and 7. Talent Competition Program In the meantime, H.E. LY Chheng complimented all the students on working hard toward their studies, obeying the school rules, being disciplined, and high morality and made no consequences to their families as well as the society, yet they tried to achieve their level and received their certificates that time. H.E. also said that all the achievements and growths of BELTEI Group from year to year are due to strong supports from students’ parents, students, relevant institutions, the ministry of education youth and sports, and as well as the local authorities. He, on the other hand, also added that recently BELTEI Group has established BELTEI International Relations to interact with prominent schools and universities around the globe and it serves 5 main services as the following: 1. Sending BELTEI’s outstanding and grade A students to pursue their studies overseas through Oknha LY Chheng’s scholarship. 2. Sending all types of Cambodian Students from the whole country who aim at pursuing their studies overseas through their responsibilities for tuition fees and living expenses. 3. Sending staff and students for Study Tours. 4. Students exchange programs. 5. Sending students for internship programs overseas. Furthermore, H.E. also reminded all the students to keep working hard to sharpen and improve their knowledge, and after graduating their ESL Level 12, they are amply qualified in the four macro-skills including Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing which lead them to TOEFL or IELTS’s score of 6.5 up that enables them to apply for scholarships to study overseas and become good leaders and bamboo-shoots to take place of bamboo trees which help develop our nation in the future. Finally, His Excellency and Lok Chum Teav congratulated and awarded the certificates to 819 student-winners. |
