LY Chheng, the president of BELTEI International University for cooperating to organize this significant event in the purpose of effectively promoting mind education and general knowledge of Cambodian youths and promoting youth role model in the society. In that occasion, H.E. Park Ock Soo, the mind education expert said that mental and mind educations are critical for Cambodian youths as they help the youths understand the true meaning of life, change their mindsets, accept other’s opinions, and open their hearts for communications in order to live in harmony in the society. In the next day morning, H.E. Say Samal, the minister of environment addressed that environment is our life and the cleaning and conserving the environment is the duty for all of us; it is not the sole responsibility of the ministry—in contrast it necessarily requires the participation by all people, especially the youths. Recently, the ministry has made a lot of reforms through modernization and delegating the tasks to the sub-national level officials to prepare and handle environmental matters by their own provinces respectively with high responsibilities and effectiveness. In the meantime of the last day morning, H.E. Hun Many, the president of Union of Youth Federation of Cambodia was honored to give a presentation by emphasizing that to become role model youths, the youths must study hard and are willing to sacrifice everything to help their nation, this makes other people always remember them as heroes, for instance, King Jayavaraman VII, Queen Indratevi, Former King Sihanouk, Supreme Buddhist Patriarch Samdech Choun Nath, and, etc. His Excellency also added that presently we have Miss Sorn Seavmey who has won gold medal and some other youths as role models. Particularly, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, the prime minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, is also a super role model of Cambodia who has sacrificed his youth-time to join in the arm force in order to liberate Cambodians from genocidal Pol Pot regime, and rebuilt all infrastructures of the nation which had been destroyed by war. He sacrificed everything to unify the nation by using win-win policy. Also, he struggled to gain back the total peace, unity, and political stability for the whole nation, which leads to economic growths and development in all sectors. This 7th World Camp was closed in the afternoon of March 29, 2017 with fruitful results and success. |
