Celebrated Awarding Ceremony of
Batch 11's High School Diploma for 971 Grade 12 Students
On the morning of October 28, 2016, BELTEI International School celebrated Awarding Ceremony for 971 BELTEI grade 12 students who had passed their national exams in the academic year 2015-2016, batch 11, at BELTEI International University (Toul Sleng), which was presided over by H.E. LY Chheng, Director-General of BELTEI Group and President of BELTEI International University and Lok Chumteav. Mr. LY Bunchhay, Deputy Director-General of BELTEI Group in charge of BELTEI International School said nowadays BELTEI IS comprises of 18 campuses, 16 are in services while 2 other are under constructions, and it has total students of 31,469. In this new academic year 2016-2017, we have 1,204 grade 12 students who are going to participate in senior high school state exams (Bac II), and our goal is to reach the rate of 85% to 95% pass. In the academic year 2015-2016, the total BELTEI students who attended high school national exams were 1,157 among whom 971 passed equals to 83.92% which are: 20 received Grade A (one of them got the top Grade A in the country, his name is KAING Sinhly), 86 received Grade B, 152 Grade C, 191 Grade D, and 522 Grade E. 20 Grade A students received Oknha LY Chheng’s scholarship to pursue their higher education in the following countries: 4 to Singapore, 4 to China, 3 to Thailand, and 9 other study in BELTEI International University and they are all supported with annual stipends as below: 3,000 USD for the first year, and 1,200 USD for the other following years till graduation. Apart from that, Mr. KAING Sinhly, the nation’s top Grade A is sponsored 5,000 USD for the first year and 3,000 USD for the following years until completion of his bachelor program. In this auspicious occasion, H.E. LY Chheng appreciated all the graduates for their studying hard, obeying the school’s regulations, being disciplined and high morality which did not make any negative effects to their families and the whole society and these led them into receiving certificates today. H.E. also expressed that currently we have one campus of BELTEI International University which consists of six faculties as the following: Business Administration; Education, Arts, and Humanities; Law and Social Sciences; Tourism and Hospitality; Engineering and Architecture; Information Technology and Science. BELTEI IU has six main programs as below: Bridging Course, Foundation Year Course, Bachelor’s Degree, Pre-Master, Master’s Degree and Doctor’s Degree. Sooner, BELTEI IU is going to open Training Course in teaching pedagogy for general education teachers and ESL teachers, which one course takes six months and it is the great opportunity for students who wish to earn experience while studying and as well as wish to become great leaders in the future. On the other hand, BELTEI has established BELTEI International Relations which offers 4 main services such as1. Sending BELTEI’s Grade A students and outstanding students who receive Oknha LY Chheng’s scholarship to pursue their higher education in partner universities (MoU) around the world. 2. Transferring general students who wish to continue their educations overseas like the U.S, Canada, the U.K, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, China, Korea, and Thailand and so on. 3. Arranging overseas study tour, from 1 week to 1 month, for students to visit universities and educational institutions around the globe. 4. Offering services in preparing students for overseas internship programs, from 1 month to 4 months, to partner universities. In the meantime, H.E. left a message for all the graduates to study harder in their higher education in order to advance their knowledge and to challenge in the world of work locally and internationally as well as build up sufficient competence for developing our nation. Finally, to conclude the ceremony, H.E. awarded the certificates to 971 graduates. |
