Six outstanding students that achieved excellence
with scores of "A" at BELTEI International
School sharing with their fellow grade 12 students
entering the new Academic Year 2016-2017
| On the morning of October 08, 2016, BELTEI International School organized an event to share the learning experiences of twenty students from BELTEI International School with scores of "A" to motivate and encourage grade 12 students enrolled in the new academic year which is presided over by H.E LY Chheng, Director General of BELTEI Group and the President of BELETEI International University, as well as Lok Chumteav. Mr. LY Bunchhay, Deputy Director-General of BETLEI Group in charge of BELTEI International School reported that BELTEI International School has extended its presence and reach to now include 18 campuses with 16 campuses currently operating and two campuses under construction. As a result, BELTEI students enrolled in Khmer General Education and ESL studying full-time and part-time total in 31,469. There are currently 1,197 grade 12 students enrolled in the new academic year 2016-2017. Of the 1,157 students enrolled in the Academic Year 2015-2016 that took Grade 12 National Exams, 971 students passed, which is an equivalent to a pass-rating of 83.92%. Moreover, among those passing students, 20 students earned grades of "A" (especially, the top scorer of grade A national wide); 86 students earned grades of "B"; 152 students received grades of "C";191 students received grades of "D"; 522 students received grades of "E". Additionally, 5 students passed city-level of Grade 9 outstanding student competition, 1 student passed Kandal-level of Grade 12 outstanding student competition and 2 students passed national-level of Grade 12 outstanding student competition in Khmer Literature and Mathematics. On this occasion, H.E. LY Chheng, Director-General of BELTEI Group and the president of BELTEI International University, expressed his appreciation to all of the outstanding students who tried their utmost, and studied intensely throughout school recognizing their success today. H.E. also thanked students’ parents and guardians who accommodated their children to learn more at home with good discipline. H.E also appreciated a student whose name is Kang Sinhly, receiving number 1 of all 405 grade A outstanding students with the total scores of 100.00%. Following H.E. LY Chheng's statements, H.E. and Lok Chomteav presented letter of appreciation and 100% Scholarship to all 20 grade A outstanding students who will be sent to study abroad via Ouknha LY CHHENG Scholarship such as: Singapore, People’s Republic of China ( Medical Science), Thailand, and Republic of Korea with $3.000 (USD) per year as allowance. Whereas other 4 students who have not decided to study abroad, H.E. has granted them 100% scholarship for a Bachelor Degree at BELTEI International University with $3.000 (USD) per year as allowance and with an annual stipend of $1.200 (USD) throughout their four-year Bachelor Degree study. The number 1 Grade A national wide, Kang Sinhly, received $5.000 (USD) as allowance and another $3.000 (USD) as annual stipend throughout his four-year Bachelor Degree study from H.E. Ly Chheng. All grade 12 teachers who have taught all grade A outstanding students also received $100 (USD) each. Moreover, A teacher and a grade 12 student who got number 1 in Mathematics for city-level also received $700 (USD) each, a teacher and a grade 9 student who got number 2 in Khmer Literature for city-level received $600 (USD), and teachers and other 4 students who got number 4 & 5 received $300 (USD) each as well. |
