BELTEI Students Join IYF World Camp 2016 in Korea
On July 01, 2016, 105 Students of BELTEI International School attended IYF World Camp 2016 In Korea. The World Camp is participated by 4, 000 youth from 80 countries in the world with the presence of Ministers of Education from 22 countries. According to the report by Mr. Buth Dimang, manager of General Education Office, BELTEI Group signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Youth Fellowship (IYF) for good cooperation and this year, International Youth Fellowship (IYF) asked for 105 Students of BELTEI International School to join the 18-day World Camp 2016 in Republic of Korea from July 01-18, 2016 and to pay their visits to main places: Busan City, Seoul, Pukyong University and other historical sites. Grade 11 student from Campus 1 Miss. Hok Sorapich said that she was very delighted that she joined the World Camp with the other students, teachers and BELTEI management. Adding that she was honored and proud that she would have chance to form friendships with other youth from 80 countries and to learn, to share new experiences with one another, and to show the world the culture of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Meanwhile, she expressed her profound thanks to H.E. LY Chheng for organizing such a great event for BELTEI Students to make them brave and assert themselves in living with other nations. Taking that opportunity, Mr. LY Bunchhay, Depuy Director-General of BELTEI Group in charge of BELTEI International School, said that this was the greatest time for BELTEI students who got a chance to join the World Camp with the other countries and was the national pride, which showed the development and potential of education in Cambodia. This is the third time that BELTEI International School has sent 340 students to join the IYF World Camp 2016. The objectives and benefits of sending the students to the IYF World Camp: 1. Making the students brave, responsible, asserting themselves in working in teams with other nations, learning and sharing 2. Getting the students to know new things in the developed country, which is self-development as well as developing the country in the future. 3. Showing the abilities and boldness of the Cambodian students to the world that they are able to join in the international programs and tradition, culture and civilization and development of Cambodia. |
