BELTEI International School and BELTEI International
University Organized the Prize Awarding Ceremony to Oustading
Students Who were the Winners in three competitions
| On February 19, 2016 afternoon, BELTEI International School and BELTEI International University organized meet-greet, sharing experience and awarding ceremony to outstanding students who were the winners in three competitions under presiding of H.E. LY CHHENG, Director General of BELTEI Group and the President of BELTEI International University and Louk Chumteav. According to the report of Mr. LY BUNCHHAY, Deputy Director General of BELTEI Group in charge of BELTEI International School said: the outstanding students of BELTEI International School and BELTEI International University have participated in various competitions both at home and abroad and were the winners as following: 1.BELTEI International University Debate Team represented by Miss. Sangam Sopheak Rothanak, Miss. Hang Nary and Mr. Hazan Norawniakasy won the Debate Championship (in English) and Spring Board Championship 2016 in the Grand Final Round on February 4, 2016 which organized by British Embassy in Cambodia and SpringBoard4Cambodia and they will represent Cambodia in the Asia Pacific Debating Championship to be held in May 2016 in Thailand. 2.A grade 10 student, Keo Piseth from BELTEI International School campus 9 was selected as number 2 in composition slogan of the event Angkor Songkranta 2016 under the slogan “Angkor Sankranta, Prosperous Angkor, Pleasant New Year, Prosperity of Great Khmer Family” and a year 2 student, Prom Chanleakana from BELTEI International University was selected as number 3 under the slogan “Visiting Angkor during Angkor Sankranta, especially the floating lantern event to wish for prosperity”, organized by the Union of Youth Federation of Cambodia for Angkor Songkranta 2016. 3.The three students of ESL Level 10 and General Education Grade 10, of BELTEI International School, joining the 7th ASEAN+3 Teacher Workshop and Student Camp for the Gifted in Science in Changwon, Korea, from January 24-31, 2016 with 92 students from the 11 countries of ASEAN and ASEAN+3, and the students named Leang Choulin and Bun Monysakol got the gold medal in each and one more student, Ros Chanvoleak also got a silver medal for their presentations on “Green Energy for Life”. In this occasion, H.E. LY CHHENG has a sincere appreciation and celebration to all outstanding students for their effort until becoming the winners. He added, all the success is the pride for BELTEI international School and BELTEI International University and for the whole country as well as the honor of every individual and each family as well. He also sent the message to all the students to study hard in order to improve their knowledge in general knowledge and the knowledge from different specific skills, especially the knowledge of foreign language to expand and strengthen as broad as global understanding. Finally, H.E LY CHHENG and Louk Chumteav gave incentive awards to the winner-students៖ 1- the debate team receives $1500, 2- the second and third place winners in competitive composition slogan of the event Angkor Songkranta 2016 get $500, 3- three outstanding students who got two gold medals and one silver medal in 7th ASEAN+3 from Republic of Korea, get $ 800 too. |
