BELTEI International School Receives the
Certificates of Quality Management System ISO
of national standard from the Institute of Standard
Cambodia and international standard from United Kingdom
| BELTEI International University and BELTEI International School hosted the awarding ceremony of certificate of Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008 from the Institute of Standards of Cambodia and ACM Limited (UKAS) of UK, under the presidency of H.E. Dr. SAT SAMY, Secretary of State and the high representative of H.E. Dr. CHAM PRASIDH, Senior Minister and Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Handicrafts, and H.E LAO CHHIV EAV, Under Secretary of State and the high representative of H.E. Dr. HANG CHUON NARON, Minister of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport at the Conference Hall of BELTEI International University on November 20, 2015 Based on the report by H.E LY CHHENG, Director General of BELTEI Group and the President of BELTEI International University, BELTEI Education has consistently implemented the standards of the Accreditation Committee of Cambodia (ACC) and the standard of Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008 to reach its motto “Quality, Efficiency, Excellence, Morality, Virtue”, with the eight principles: 1-The focus to customers, 2-Leadership, 3-The participation of staff , 4-The rules of process, 5-Systematic measure for managing, 6-The progress of improving, 7-Fact measurement based on decision , 8-Contact supplier for mutual interest and ten more procedures including, 1-Document control and Record procedure, 2-Training procedure, 3-Purchasing procedure, 4- Service control procedure, 5-Control and non-conformance procedure, 6-Corrective action procedure, 7-Prevention action procedure, 8-Internal audits procedure, 9- Facilities and infrastructure management procedure, 10-Operation procedure, which makes BELTEI improve its quality of education until getting certificate of Quality Management System of national standard from the Institute of Standard of Cambodia and international standard from ACM Limited (UKAS) of the United Kingdom for a three-year term validity and this is the second time that BELTEI International University and BELTEI International School receive the ISO Certificates. H.E LY CHHENG expressed his profound thank to the delegates for spending their valuable time witnessing the awarding ceremony of certificate of Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008 to BELTEI International University and BELTEI International School. Next, H.E CHAN BORIN, Director-General of the Institute of Standard of Cambodia raised up some strong points of BELTEI Education, which has been assessed and certified as meeting the requirements of Quality Management System ISO 9001-2008. Having seen this, the Institute of Standard of Cambodia offers the certificate of Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008 to BELTEI International University and BELTEI International School for the second time today. Then, Mr. Christopher, International Operation Director of the ACM Limited (UKAS) of the United Kingdom highlighted the efforts of implementation of BELTEI Education that has completed in all conditions of international standards of Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008, which is to evaluate and offer certificate to any organization or institution, whose international principles are consistently implemented. Along with this, H.E LAV CHHIV EAV, Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport said that the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport has the vision to build and develop human resources with high qualification and virtue in every sectors in order to make Cambodia a developing society based on knowledge and fundamental of know-how and a mission to lead to the educational development in Kingdom of Cambodia, responding to the needs of economic development, social affair, cultures and the development both in the region and the world. After that, H.E SART SAMY, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Industry and Handicraft expressed his enthusiasm for BELTEI International University and BELTEI International School, which have been striving to develop itself rapidly in term of management and human resources training in order to take part in development with the Royal Government and congratulated BELTEI on getting the certificate of Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008 of national and international standard today, adding that, receiving the certificates of Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008 of national and international standard, is not a pride of BELTEI itself, but also a pride of Cambodia as a whole. H.E LAV CHHIV EAV and H.E SART SAMY also witnessed the certificate awarding ISO 9001-2008 of national standard from the Institute of Standard of Cambodia and international standard from ACM Limited (UKAS) of the United Kingdom to BELTEI International University and BELTEI International School. |
