conducted a Field Trip to a number locations
BELTEI International School organized a Field Trip during the month of June for 3,523 (Three thousand five hundred and twenty three) students from levels 4 to 12 to some significant historical sites such as: - Students of levels 4 and 5 visited the Royal Palace - Students of level 6 visited the National Museum - Students of level 7 visited the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum - Students of level 8 visited the Killing Field Choeng Ek - Students of level 9 visited Tamao Mountain Resort - Students of level 10 visited Preah Reach Troap Mountain (Oudong) Resort - Students of level 11 visited Sontuk Mountain Resort - Students of level 12 visited Sambor Prey Kuk Temple This Field Trip is a component of the extracurricular courses offered by BELTEI International School. It is organized for students who are Khmer next generation youths in order for them to: better appreciate their motherland; be united as one regardless of any circumstances; be aware of the history, culture, and the celebrated Khmer civilization during the Angkor period along with other periods throughout history. Students will know the bitter history experienced by the Cambodian people for the duration of the Khmer Rouge regime, which was the dark era that nearly destroyed the country and killed millions of Khmer people. After finishing the Field Trip, the school requires students to compose a written English report in order to further strengthen and increase their knowledge resulting in continued quality education in accordance with the motto of BELTEI International School. |
