BELTEI’s delegates and students returned from
participating in World Camp 2012 in South Korea:
On July 14, 2012, BELTEI’s delegate with 103 students returned from World Camp 2012, which was held for 20 days in South Korea. There were 3000 youths from 60 countries participating in this event, and there were also Ministers of Education from 20 different countries. Mr. Pho Sothearak, the International Relations and Tour Manager stated at the Airport that, after returning from the World Camp, the students had gained some knowledge and new experiences related to living, customs, traditions, cultures, and literatures. They also had been trained about mind training to be patient and open-minded in order to avoid conflicts, to be able to live with other races, as well as to manage themselves with self-control. Moreover, our students had the opportunity to practise English better than before, they learned about modern technology; and they got involved with some tasks which were universal for the interests of their families and developing themselves to be brave, to have enough abilities, to become good youths and future leaders in their nations. Mr. Pho Sothearak added that, at the forum of the Assembly of the Ministers of Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, His Excellency Ly Chheng, Director-General of BELTEI Group was appointed as a member of the International Youth Fellowship Advisory Committee by its president, and he was also awarded a certificate of appreciation. At the airport, a student named Hak Pichmonika studying at Campus 7 expressed her happiness and joy in participating the World Camp 2012 in South Korea. She added that during the World Camp, she gained good experiences such as sharing knowledge and cultures, staying with friends from different countries, especially showing glorious Khmer culture and civilization. Another student named Cheang Thanoth studying at Campus 4 expressed his trill of being able to visit many destinations such as ULSAN, BUSAN, Pukyong University, Hyundai factory, Haeundae beach, Expo YEOSU KOREA, SEOUL the largest city in South Korea, Bexco Church, Busan aquarium, Shopping Centers such as Home Plus, E Mart, Lette Supermarket. He sincerely thanked BELTEI International Institute, especially His Excellency Ly Chheng, who had organized and provided the opportunity for them to participate in World Camp 2012 in South Korea. |
