BELTEI Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding(MOU)
with International Youth Fellowship (IYF)
On April 27, 2012, an MOU signing ceremony between BELTEI Group and International Youth Fellowship was held at the conference hall of BELTEI International Institute, Campus 9 (Stung Mean Chey). It was presided over by the invaluable presence of His Excellency, SEAN Borath, personal advisor to Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and Secretary of State of the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport, and Vice President of Anti-corruption Unit. With consistent development, H.E. LY CHHENG stated that BELTEI International Institute has expanded to 11 campuses in Phnom Penh City. There are 20,976 students, (8,987 females) currently studying at BELTEI International Institute. BELTEI International Institute has also established the BELTEI Group, which has three main services: I. BELTEI Construction buys and sells real estate and other buildings. Currently, it is constructing BELTEI International Institute Campus 12 (Phnom Penh Thmey) and also BELTEI International University Campus 1 (Toul Sleng), which is going to be officially inaugurated on October 1, 2012. II. BELTEI Tour is going to be officially inaugurated on June, 2012, and it provides 4 main services: A= Domestic Tour Programs for Cambodians B= Domestic Tour Programs for Expatriates C= Inbound Tour Programs D= Outbound Tour Programs. III. BELTEI Education is divided into 3 mains parts: BELTEI International Institute, BELTEI International University, and BELTEI International Relations. His Excellency, Ly Chheng, added that the Institute signed MOUs with 5 main Universities: Regent’s College London, York Saint John, Cambridge Tutors College of the United Kingdom, UNIVERSITI KUALA LUMPUR and TAYLOR University of Malaysia. Today, the Institute also signed one more MOU with the International Youth Fellowship (IYF) for the following purposes: 1-To educate and train youths to have volunteered mentalities with leadership, and to help others so that they will become good generational leaders. 2-To solve youths’ problems, which are causing troubles within their society, families as well as themselves in the future. 3-To educate youths’ minds to commit to good things, and to have good morality and hope. 4-To make the youths of the world be willing to cooperate with one another. 5-To improve social health and public interests. 6-To select and send BELTEI Group’s students at least 100 to participate in the International Youth Fellowship’s programs such as National and International camping in other countries in the world. |

On that occasion, His Excellency, SEAN Borath, Personal advisor to Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and Secretary of State of Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport said that in 2004, International Youth Fellowship had signed an MOU with the Ministry of Affairs and International Cooperation, and in 2010, this organization signed the agreement with the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport in order to strengthen and expand cooperation in volunteer programs. On April 27, 2012, Dr. Ock Soo PARK, the Founder of International Youth Fellowship also signed the MOU with BELTEI Group. After that, a video clip of Dr. Ock Soo PARK, the Founder of International Youth Fellowship was shown. It showed all the participants about his childhood and his present successful life. Then, Dr. Ock Soo PARK presented slide shows about mind training to the participants which expressed about the importance of understanding the world of feeling for educating youths; understanding each other; forgiving each other; helping each other so that they avoid conflicts which may occur by misunderstanding, especially to educate youths to live with clear goals in their lives. Through the signing of the MOU today, he will make an effort to motivate BELTEI’s students to participate in other activities in the International Youth Fellowship, and will expand and improve this cooperation further. Last but not least, His Excellency, Ly Chheng, and Dr. Ock Soo PARK signed the MOU and then offered souvenirs to each other at that time as well. |
