On 10 September 2011, His Excellency Ly Chheng, the Director General of BELTEI Group and Director of BELTEI International Institute led BELTEI’s managers, BELTEI International Institute’s management team along with the Campus Directors, to hand 25,000,000 Riels to a CHEA (Cambodia Higher Education Association) [which comprises 43 institutions] delegation led by His Excellency Dr. Major General Hun Maneth, the honorable representative of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Luk Chum Teav Kattiprithbendit Bun Rany Hun Sen. They paid a visit and brought along donations to the 41st Infantry Brigade stationed in Onlong Veng district, Odor Meanchey Province and were received by His Excellency Lieutenant General Chea Mon, Deputy Commander of Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, Commander of Fourth Region and Personal Advisor to Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia. In the ceremony, His Excellency Major General Neang Khim, Commander of the 41st Infantry Brigade said that, after the truce at Preah Vihear, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia recommended that the soldiers of the 41st Infantry Brigade should be stationed in Onlong Veng District, Odor Meanchey Province. His Excellency Sean Borath, Chief of the Delegation of CHEA, remarked that with the permission of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Luk Chum Teav Kattiprithbendit Bun Rany Hun Sen, he brought along a total of 138,590,000 Riels contributed by CHEA and BELTEI amounting to 108,804,500 Riels and 25,000,000 Riels respectively. Subsequently, His Excellency Dr. Major General Hun Maneth expressed his respect and sincere thanks to Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Luk Chum Teav Kattiprithbendit Bun Rany Hun Sen for their guidance and motivation and on behalf of CHEA delegation members and management teams of the Federation of Cambodian Students’ Democracy and Intellectual, management teams of the Students Associations of other higher education institutions and 24 public secondary technical schools. His Excellency visited the 41st Infantry Brigade bringing the donations from Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Luk Chum Teav Kattiprithbendit Bun Rany Hun Sen. Next, His Excellency donated 5 tons of rice, 50 boxes of “Mee Yeung” noodles, 50 dozen bottles of soy sauce, 20 dozen cans of fish, 50 boxes of soft drinks, 50 boxes of fruit juice, 2 desk-top computers, 1 lap-top computer, 3 printers, 1 copier and 2,500 fruit tree seedlings for 150 families of the soldiers. Each family also received a “sarong” and 20,000 Riels. His Excellency also donated personally 20,000,000 Riels and a 5 KW generator to 41st Infantry Brigade. In the afternoon, on 10 September 2011 His Excellency Dr. Major General Hun Maneth led the delegation to pay a visit to the 42nd Infantry Brigade stationed in Som Raung district, Odor Meanchey Province. His Excellency donated 5 tons of rice, 50 boxes of “Mee Yeung” noodles, 50 dozen bottles of soy sauce, 20 dozen cans of fish, 50 boxes of soft drinks and 50 boxes of fruit juice to 150 families of the soldiers. Each family also received 1 “sarong” and 20,000 Riels. His Excellency also personally donated 10,000,000 Riels to 42nd Infantry Brigade ; 1,000,000 Riels to the ceremony organizer, 10,000,000 Riels to the Head Quarter Direction 3 stationed at Tamon temple, 5,000,000 Riels to the Fifth Region, 5,000,000 Riels to the Fifth Sub Military Zone, 5,000,000 Riels to the 702nd Police Infantry Frontier Defense Battalion, 5,000,000 Riels to the Engineering Head Quarter, 200.000 Riels to two Chiefs of Tamon Sen Chhey Village, (100.000 Riels each) and 200.000 to Chroy Om Pel District. In the morning on September 11, 2011, His Excellency Dr. Major General Hun Maneth led the delegation and many students of Higher Education Institutions to visit soldiers at Army Headquarters of Preah Vihea Temple Battlefield (The Peace Headquarter) at 5 Makara Village of Preah Vihea Temple, in the honorable presence of His Excellency Lieutenant General Kun Kim. On that occasion, His Excellency Lieutenant General Chea Dara, Deputy Commander in Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces and Commander of Battlefield for the Fourth Region, explained about the Battlefield where Siam soldiers invaded the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Using that opportunity, His Excellency Dr. Major General Hun Maneth admired the military officers and men who battled for the cause of the nation and our country’s defense against all enemy invasion for every square millimeter and he donated personally about 4 million Riels to Headquarter of Preah Vihea Temple Battlefield for Phchum Ben Festival. In the morning on the same day, His Excellency Dr. Major General Hun Maneth led the delegation to visit soldiers in the 9th Intervention Brigade, which was organized in the compound of Chom Ksan district, Preah Vihear Temple where there was participation by His Excellency Lieutenant General Chea Dara, His Excellency Sor Thavry, Deputy Governor, government officials in Chom Ksan district, citizens, and 1000 soldiers from the 9th Intervention Brigade. His Excellency Major General Doung Chan, the Commander of the 9th Intervention Brigade, representing soldiers, officers and army families, thanked Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Luk Chum Teav Kattiprithbendit Bun Rany Hun Sen, for paying attention to the soldiers’ standard of living and to the soldiers’ families, ensuring stability and strengthening the armed forces to maintain territorial defense integrity.
