BELTEI’s outstanding student got the first place for the Country Level
On April 28, 2011, the Awarding Ceremony to BELTEI’s outstanding student who got the first place at Khmer subject for the Country Level in 2010-20011 was held at the conference hall of BELTEI International Institute, Campus 9 (Stung Meanchey). It was presided over by H.E. LY CHHENG, the Director-General of BELTEI Group and Director of BELTEI International Institute with Her Excellency, and participated by more than 1000 attendees who are management teams, teachers, students of BELTEI International Institute and guardians. The Institute commits to complying with its motto: Quality, Efficiency, Excellence, Morality, Virtue. As the result, BELTEI’s students passed their exams as the outstanding students for the City Level and the Country Level mentioned below: -In the Academic Year 2005-2006, the grade 12 female student, whose name Chea Lykon passed her exam as the outstanding student for the 4th place at Mathematics subject for the Phnom Penh City Level. On that precious occasion, His Excellency LY CHHENG, Director-General of BELTEI Group and Director of BELTEI International Institute stated that “students are lucky to have good opportunities to study and live in the completely peaceful country led by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia. His Excellency Ly Chheng, Director-General of BELTEI Group added that “the students are the bamboo shoots of our country in the future, so they have to obey their parents, law, and the 18 articles of the Institute’s Student Internal Rules such as avoiding conflicts and drug abuse. They have to respect themselves, wear clean BELTEI uniform and set clear schedules for learning and leisure activities, and they have to avoid Khmer old saying said 5 Kror and 1 Chhor. It means that (They are lazy to work), (They don’t have any tricks or talent but they are too honest), (They aren’t willing to study or doing more research, and they aren’t smart), (They don’t have any strategies or tactics, and they aren’t active), (They don’t know how to create new things, they are not flexible to the circumstances and they do not know how to set the schedule properly);furthermore, they must do good deed.” |
His Excellency Ly Chheng thanked for all students’ guardians, who trust on BELTEI, and send their children to study at BELTEI International Institute for the 5 main programs, and they closely collaborated with management teams and teachers at each campus so that their children become good students, friends, children, and citizens.
At that time, His Excellency Ly Chheng, Director-General of BELTEI Group recommended that: There are three ways of learning such as learning from school, learning from work, and self-study. Education is a life long process, Time and Tide wait for no man, and No satisfaction is better than the success from our own abilities.
Last but not least, His Excellency Ly Chheng, Director-General of BELTEI Group advised the successful and outstanding students try to keep on studying in order to be outstanding students for the Country Level for the next high school exam; whereas, other students must work hard more, and they must get good examples from the successful and outstanding students. Finally, His Excellency Ly Chheng, Director-General of BELTEI Group gave a 1000$ award with scholarship for both Khmer general education and ESL for the whole batch to the successful student, and the teacher, who has the talent in teaching, was awarded 1000$, and another outstanding student, who got successful in the 9th place for the City Level, was awarded 300$, and the teacher, who has the talent in teaching, was also awarded 300$.
