Major Overview

As a highly tailored program, the Master of Education in Educational Administration and Leadership prepares students for professional careers in school administration and leadership. The program engages students in such professional activities as organizational leadership and decision making, management of the school organization, human resource development, promoting parental involvement and school-community linkage. By taking this major, students will be guided through a range of applied theories and principles in educational administration and leaderships and those of other related disciplines such as curriculum and philosophy of education. Courses are designed to reflect research and contemporary practices of effective management and leadership skills and other functional areas of education.
