•Major Overview

Civil Engineering is very important in meeting the demands in social development through the improvement of infrastructure including planning, construction, and maintenance the road and bridge, building, airport, irrigation system, electricity site, and other types of buildings. The studies focus on significant factors related to building quality and safety and reducing the negative effects on the constructions such as computing the strength of materials to support the buildings, project duration, budget estimation, construction law, and the surrounding natural environment.

•Curriculum

The curriculum is carefully and thoroughly designed in accordance with the international standards meeting the local, regional, and international job market demands by focusing on professional skills in civil engineering  through the studies for 5 years of core subjects  such as Foundations of Engineering, Water and Sewage Management, Structural Analysis, Constructional Design, Road Engineering, Cost Estimation and Con-tract Specification, and Steel Structure De-sign. All subjects are conducted in English using newly published course books.

•Learning Outcomes

Upon the completion of the major, graduates will be able to organize and design the construction, to control the building safety, and to research with creativity, confidence, and to have enough ability through knowing how to manage, the, duties, obligations, and responsibilities as well as addressing the issues for running the construction project in a economical and appropriate ways according to the scientific techniques at construction company and related agents effectively.
