•Major Overview

Tourism Management gains mush interest amongst students since there are high job demands in Tourism Sector which is the sector that is very potential in the Kingdom of Cambodia.  The studies focus on the knowledge and technical skills in managing tourism sector such as national and international hospitality, traveling planning like airfares, cruises, ticketing, and inbound and outbound tourism management as well as tourism management related issues such as organizational structure, planning, resource management, leading, job implementation, and marketing strategic planning for tourism business and organization management successfully.

•Curriculum

The curriculum is carefully and thoroughly designed in accordance with the international standards meeting the local, regional, and international job market demands by focusing on professional skills in tourism management  through the studies of core subjects  including Foundations of Tourism, Visitor Management, Destination Management, Food and Beverage Management, and Accommodation as well as general business management related issues such as Planning, Marketing, Financing, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership. All subjects are conducted in English using newly published course books.

•Learning Outcomes

Upon the completion of the major, graduates will  have enough ability in managing tourism with great knowledge of resort and historical site geography, tour packages, eco-tourism, cultural tourism, traveling management both inbound and outbound, and high class hospitality. Moreover, they will be able to manage tourism company by knowing how to do budget planning, managing organizational structure, strategic marketing, and building good relation with customers and related agents.
