BELTEI International Relations signed a Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) with University of Canada West from Canada
In the morning of June 21, 2017, BELTEI International University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with University Canada West from Canada, which was co-presided over by H.E. LY Chheng, Director-General of BELTEI Group and President of BELTEI International University and Dr. Arthur Coren, President of University Canada West. Mr. LY Navuth, Deputy Director-General of BELTEI Group and Senior Vice-President of BELTEI International University said that the purpose of this MOU is to strengthen international partnership collaboration which includes academic and experience exchange programs, student exchange programs, internship programs, and study tour programs through BELTEI International Relations which serves three main services as the following: 1. Sending BELTEI’s outstanding and Grade-A students to study overseas through Oknha LY Chheng’s scholarship. 2. Sending general Cambodian students throughout the country to study overseas by paying for full tuition fees, residential fees, and other expenses of living there by themselves. 3. Sending staff and students for study tours overseas. Through Oknha LY Chheng’s scholarship, BELTEI International Relations has sent 56 students to pursue their educations overseas as the following: 10 students in UK, 01 student in US, 37 students in Singapore, 05 students in China, 03 students in Thailand, and 06 more Oknha LY Chheng’s scholarship students are studying in BELTEI International University. He also added that so far BELTEI International University has signed MOU with 32 prominent overseas universities which include: 1. 05 Institutions in the UK: Regent’s University London, York Saint John University, Cambridge Tutors College, Springboard4Cambodia, IELTS International Test Center. 2. 05 Institutions in the U.S.A: Shoreline Community College, Edmond Community College, Education First (EF), McGraw Hill Education, and TOFL International Test Center. 3. 01 Institution in Singapore: East Asia Institute of Management (EASB). 4. 10 Institutions in China: Guangxi Medical University, Guangxi University of Foreign Languages, Guangxi University of Nationalities, Guilin University of Technology, Guilin University of Aerospace Technology, Guilin Institute of Tourism, Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities, Guizhou Medical University, WUHAN University, and University of Guangxi Teachers Education. 5. 03 Institutions in Korea: International Youth Fellowship (FYI), Sangmyung University, and SUNY KOREA INCHEON. 6. 02 Institutions in Japan: Hosei University and Fukui University. 7. 02 Institutions in Malaysia: Kuala Lumpur University, and Taylor University 8. 04 Institutions in Thailand: Bangkok University, University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, RAJAMANGALA University, and ASSUMPTION University. And that day, BELTEI International University signed another Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with University Canada West from Canada. Later on, Dr. Arthur Coren, the President of University Canada West said he was excited as his University has opportunity to sign MOU with BELTEI International University which has international curricular and it is a leading prominent private educational institution in Kingdom of Cambodia. In that occasion, His Excellency LY Chheng, Director-General of BELTEI Group and President of BELTEI International University said that day BELTEI International University signed one more MOU with University Canada West from Canada. Through this MOU, both universities will be entitled closed partnership and collaborations between management teams, staff, and professors. Particularly, this MOU grants ample opportunity to Cambodian students to pursue their studies in Canada in order that they earn substantive knowledge and skills for challenging in both local and global markets, and becoming good leaders in the future. Finally, H.E. LY Chheng and Dr. Arthur Coren signed on MOU papers and exchanged gifts. |
