The Study Visit to the United Kingdom of the Delegation of
BELTEI International Institute
The delegation of BELTEI International Institute led by H.E. LY CHHENG, the Director-General of BELTEI Group and Director of BELTEI International Institute, accompanied by the international relations manager, accounting manager, academic manager, and some members of the Cambodian Higher Education Association returned from the Study Visit for 10 days from March 14-23, 2011 in the United Kingdom. 1-To participate in education enhancement with the Royal Government of Cambodia including the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, and the Accreditation Committee of Cambodia in order to upgrade the education of Cambodia to be internationally recognized. 2-To visit in person and learn about campuses, school buildings, libraries, class rooms, laboratories, study materials, student accommodations, and British culture. 3-To draw experiences and learn about the sustainability management of each university including the administrative structure and curriculum management. 4-To create more opportunities for the members of the association to directly meet and communicate with the universities in the United Kingdom before deciding to sign the Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs). The Institution visited the well-known universities in the United Kingdom such as: 1-The University of Greenwich, H.E. Ly Chheng, also displayed the results which were received after the Study Visit with important points such as understanding about the Higher Education study system of the United Kingdom, and exchanging experiences of management and development in both public and private higher education institutions for a new policy which Cambodia has been locally integrating globalization of the world, and learning about cultures, study curriculums, structures of university’s management, and the institutes with management of university on how to run smoothly and to improve the quality of education as well as success in the future. The delegation of the association met and talked in a friendly way with the above universities of the United Kingdom, and hoped some of the universities would decide to sign the MOUs. |
