Result of UK Universities Visit of BELTEI

At the Phnom Penh International Airport on November 02, 2009, BELTEI’s delegation, led by H.E Ly Chheng, Director-General of BELTEI Group and Director of BELTEI International Institute, accompanied by manager of BELTEI International Affairs and  Academic Manager, returned from the UK universities visit in the United Kingdom. H.E. said that the three main purposes are:
1.    Accompanying the delegation of Cambodia Higher Education Association (CHEA) led by H.E. Seng Phally.
2.    Seeking for international support and selecting best overseas colleges/universities to be partner in Education in the future.
3.    Officially signing the Memorandum of Understanding between BELTEI International Institute and Regent’s College, London on accepting the Foundation Year students who successfully completed the Foundation Year at BELTEI with having achieved a minimum TOEFL iBT score of 80 for attending the undergraduate program at Regent’s College, London without attending the Foundation Year.

H.E. Ly Chheng said that recently BELTEI has opened the International Office for three main purposes.
1.    To promote students exchange service between BELTEI’s students and the overseas students
2.    To promote the service of sending students in Cambodia to study abroad
3.    To seek for technical support from the collaborative colleges/universities

H.E. Ly Chheng, in short, said that BELTEI has strived to seek for high quality, well-known and inexpensive overseas colleges/universities, which mainly focus on the students’ studies and helping them to get jobs. BELTEI will open its door to consult students about the overseas study from next week on.
