Implementation and New Action Plan (2014-2015)

On January 10, 2015, BELTEI Group held the ASSEMBLY ON TOTAL RESULT OF PREVIOUS IMPLEMENTATION AND NEW ACTION PLAN (2014-2015) under the presidency of His Excellency LY CHHENG, Director-General of BELTEI Group, and Lok Chumteav with total 1,312 participatants of management team, lecturers, teachers and staff. From the report of Mr. Ly Navuth, Vice-President of BELTEI International University, BELTEI Group has 1,512 employees and 30,461 students in total. BELTEI Group serves 3 main services such as: I.BELTEI Construction with more than 200 employees buys/sells real estate and builds any apartments; currently, it is in the process of building BELTEI 14 campus located in Ta Kmao town, Kandal province and BELTEI 15 (Campus Chompu Vorn). II.BELTEI Tour with 22 employees, in 2014, accompanied 1,121 tourists in total to take inbound and outbound tour included 1.Inbound Tour (Seam Reap, Ratanak Kiri, Koh Kong, and Sihanouk Ville) 653 tourists and 2.Outbound Tour (Thai, Lao, Singapore, Malaysia, and Korea) 468 tourists. III.BELTEI Education with 1,290 employees, categorized into 3 main categories: BELTEI International School, BELTEI International University, and BELTEI International Relations. BELTEI International School (13 campuses) 1-General Education: -There are 15, 750 current students -In the Academic Year 2013-2014, 1,002 students took Grade 12 national exams, and 679 students passed, in equivalent to 67.76%; among those, 9 students got grade B and this year 2 students passed country-level grade-12 outstanding student competition, one student got number 1 and the other one got number 6 and 3 students passed city-level grade-12 outstanding student competition. -Among 4,872 students of 9 batches took grade 12 national exams, 4,510 students passed, in equivalent to 92, 60% with 20 outstanding students, 6 country-level outstanding students and 14 city-level outstanding students. ` 2-English as a Second Language (ESL): -There are 13,670 current students -The number ofLevel 12 students took the Exit Exam of 33 batches was 3,234 students in total and 262 students took TOEFL iBT and IELTS test. 3-Computer Training Courses: -There are 197 current students -There were 6,320 students successfully completing the courses 4-International Test Preparation Courses: -There are 25 current students -There were 403 national candidates and international candidates took international test, among those, 218 candidates took the TOEFL iBT Test and 32 candidates took IELTS Test. BELTEI International University: -There are 819 current students. -There were 735 graduates of 7 batches, 692 graduates of Bachelor Degree and 43 graduates of Master Degree BELTEI International Relations: -There were 22 students graduated from abroad, 19 graduates of Bachelor and 03 graduates of Master Degree. Goals and Future Action Plan: 1-Try to further strengthen the current existing organizational structure. 2-Try to strengthen students’ ability of General Education in all grades, especially grade 12 students, ensuring that at least more than 90% of them pass the exam. 3-Try to strengthen English students’ ability (ESL Program) in all levels ensuring that successfully completed Level-12 students must get International Test scores TOEFL or IELTS 5.0 up in order to win scholarship to study Bachelor Degree abroad. 4- Try to strengthen student’s ability at the university in all academic years ensuring that when they finish bachelor degree, they must get International Test Score of TOEFL or IELTS 6.5 up in order to win scholarship to study Master Degree abroad. 5-Try to look for good universities abroad to sign Memorandum of Understanding 6- Encourage students to do the internship and take fieldtrip in the country and abroad more often. 7-Widen tourist destinations locally and abroad to satisfy the customers’ needs. In this occasion, His Excellency Director-General also admired and thanked management team, lecturers, teachers and all the staff from all departments for their unity, determination, implementation of the duties in accordance with the school’s motto “Quality, Efficiency, Excellence, Morality , Virtue” until BELTEI Group has been growing continuously. His Excellency Director-General also confirmed that the purpose of this assembly today is to share experiences, teaching strategies and management tasks of all departments ensuring that the management process in all campuses is functioning smoothly and effectively. Finally, His Excellency Director-General and Lok Chumteav conferred the appointment epistles to the management team of BELTEI Group as well.
